These two tracks originally appeared on the rare 4-song cassette entitled "creeping charlie... goes electric?!", by Libby Sue and her longtime sidekick, Creeping Charlie. Libby sang, and Charlie played the instruments, on the edge of town, in a little rental house in Asheville, NC. While the dryer spun, their new little one slept soundly, and an escaped goat roamed the yard.

The GBV cover was probably recorded for, but did not appear on, a Tobin Sprout tribute compilation. The Gram song was an old favorite learned from the Catsup Plate "...Golden Grain" cassette comp, which came to the Ottumwa/Iowa City DIY homerecording scene by way of Sing Eunuchs or Dave Sink's record shop in Omaha.
